  • DUCATI MOTORCYCLES Retail Experience Design The New York showroom prototype’s design concept, strongly industrial and minimalist in nature, is based on the perception of the motorcycle as an elegant, highly engineered machine. The showroom is a contemporary jewel box; the motorcycle is the jewel.   • SONY Re-Imagined In 2008 Sony was in the market for a design company with not only a good product understanding but with experience in luxury high-end furniture. After the creative director of Sony’s Santa Monica design studio caught wind of the exclusive Carbon22 furniture series by Dario Antonioni, we were given an assignment to re-imagine the flat screen plasma TV not just as a wall-mounted object for watching television but as a luxurious piece of furniture. Over the course of three weeks, a variety of concepts were created ranging from desktop scale to larger versions. Eight of the original ten concepts ranging from low end to high end on a variety of scales were pitched by the Santa Monica studio at Sony’s global conference in Japan with the deciding executives.     2011 Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering

  • FLOAT Luxury Spa - Santa Barbara The value we deliver to our clients comes from taking their existing budget and getting the most out of it which takes clever and resourceful design. Through utilizing inexpensive materials in clever ways, a perceived million-dollar environment was created for a fraction of the cost. We selected off-the-shelf items and altered them to create something new and innovative to provide a tailored solution to the particular space.   • FLOAT WALL DESK Minimal Home Office Concept The Float Wall Desk mounts easily to any existing wall surface to create a multi-use desk or shelf with a built-in drawer. Perfect for use as a home office, writing desk or display shelf the design lends itself to any room or stretch of unused wall space.   • FLIGHT Los Angeles Metro Station Concept Recognized by ID Magazine for its inventive design, this proposal for an elevated metro station is intended to be built along Los Angeles’ 110 Freeway, hovering between the north and south bound lanes.   • FLIGHT001 Travel Shops - Global Today, Flight 001 is a veritable empire, with locations across the U.S. and beyond. From Chicago to Brooklyn, San Jose to Los Angeles, each store bears Antonioni’s design imprint. In San Francisco, a store-within-a-store, known as “Flight 001 Shuttle,” sits in the high-end department store Henri Bendel. And like the original flight itself, the Flight 001 retailer crosses oceans: In the United Arab Emirates, another Flight 001 store-within-a-store services customers of Harvey Nichols in Dubai and most recently Australia and Shanghai.     2011 store design, interior architecture, retail design

Orange22 leveraged engineering and manufacturing techniques that drive costs down without sacrificing aesthetics.   • MOVADO Limited Edition Experience Gallery Time is gigantic—it exists in terms of zillions of light years, in terms of glaciers that carve mountains in the earth. And it’s infinitesimally small. It exists in milliseconds, or at the atomic level. Which is exactly the kind of challenge that sparks Antonioni’s interest.
